Module 7 of 12
Lesson 7: Ratings, Reviews, and Reputation
Teach students how reviews and reputation become conversion and discoverability assets on the App Store.
Why this module exists
Ratings shape conversion silently. Reviews shape strategy out loud.
A half-star difference in average rating moves install rate more than most metadata changes do, which is why this module sits where it does in the curriculum. Asking for ratings well, and responding to reviews consistently, are operational disciplines more than creative ones. The teams that get them right rarely have a special technique; they have a steady cadence.
{Mining reviews} closes the loop back into Module 3. Review language is often the cheapest source of new seed phrases, because it captures the words real users use when nobody is editing them. Recovery after a bad release is the harder, less glamorous lesson, and the one teams underestimate until they need it.
